While jumping between studying poetry and philosophy at UEA, Nick Herrmann realised that he didn't have to choose between them - he could unite them in the form of songwriting, and pursue that instead. Combined with his love of alt-country, and his fascination with American folklore, the result is a very English take on americana, thick with symbolism, existentialism and stories about outlaws.
